Brain Food: Brain Health Through Diet

“In a perfect world, food should provide all the necessary nutrients to support optimal brain health.” Turner, J. 2011, “Your Brain on Food: A Nutrient-Rich Diet Can Protect Cognitive Health”, Journal of American Society on Aging, 35 (2), 99-106.

In our not so perfect world, that statement presents a three part problem:

  • How do we know what we need?
  • How do we know what to eat to get what we need?
  • What happens if we can’t get enough of what we need naturally?
