As a leading expert and Innovation Advisor for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMMS), Diane supported the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation (CMMI) in testing new models of care delivery.  Forming partnerships with local organizations to drive delivery system reform & improve health systems so the communities served benefit from better care for the patient, better health for the population at a lower cost.

An experienced consultant to corporations nationwide, Diane has performed assessment of hospitals, free-standing surgical facilities, and physician practices to advance clinical quality and  compliance with requlatory requirements, providing analysis, review, & evaluation, resulting in objectives and goals for performance improvement and quality initiatives.

Passionate about serving as  Board Member supporting the mission of Lelt Foundation, a registered 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of the population in the communities of Kara Kore and Hosanna, Ethiopia through programs in education, nutrition, food security, orphan care, trauma counseling, microfinance and job creation.   Diane also serves as Medical Director, establishing partnerships with local non-government organizations (NGO’s) to improve the health of the population through increased access to healthcare, preventative care (advancements in education, social determinants of health, sanitation, screening & intervention strategy and vaccination programs) as well as facilitate medical and surgical treatment of disease and provide primary care & humanitarian aid.

Committed to meeting critical needs of victims of war, poverty, famine, disease and natural disaster, Diane serves on the International Disaster Assistance Response Team (Samaritan’s Purse),  served with Partners in Health  Ebola Response Clinical Team in Liberia, and in Nigeria and Ethiopia as a facilitator with MAST teams (Mobilized Assistance Supporting Translation).

Challenging the narrative & influencing social media’s message,  Diane publishes Celebrating Women USA, a unifying collection of interviews with women.  Sharing our stories to help another, to inspire, to encourage, & to celebrate…because  every woman is a role model.

Doreen Guma is the author of the book, If I Knew Then What I Know Now, Our Quest for Quality of Life.

Doreen holds a Bachelor of Science in Management, a Masters Degree in Business and Policy Studies, is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, a Certified Coach for Social and Emotional Intelligence, a Certified Professional Coach, and a Certified Life Coach.

Doreen has worked in healthcare since 1987 with a focus in quality improvement.  Over these past 30 years, she has observed the increase of “sick and sad” in our society.  In response, she founded the Time to Play Foundation, a not for profit 501c3 advocacy organization with the goal to enrich the lives of people and communities through programs, public awareness outreach activities, events and learning opportunities that promote and further the concept of enjoying life.

The Foundation utilizes an unconventional approach – a focus on the positive and the possibilities of individuals and communities, and offers a “HUB” of resources for people to learn what they need to know to be happy, healthy, have money and a work life balance, the Time to Play Philosophy.

With over 25 years as a senior level human resources executive, Gary brings to Time To Play an extensive back in human resources and organizational development in both the for-profit and not-for-profit sectors on a local and national level. Gary’s industry experience has included talent/career management consulting, healthcare, mental health, hospitality, education and multi-state operations.

His record of achievement has been broad-based, stressing financial management, problem-solving, dispute resolution, employee engagement and proactive leadership. Also, he has represented management as a chief spokesperson for contract negotiations, directed counter union defense campaigns, and has been successful in obtaining union representation withdrawal.

Working with management and staff, Gary has facilitated strategic HR planning, built strong cohesive management teams, providing creative problem-solving expertise, revitalize human resources functions through new program strategies, efficient use of metrics/technology and has led employee engagement initiatives.

Also, Gary has been a proactive community volunteer with a number of programs and agencies including Harbor Child Care since 2005 and is serving currently as Board President as well as the Nassau County Police Activity League – Girls Lacrosse Chair, and Garden City Girls Lacrosse – past Executive Director and Board President.

Gary holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling Education/Community Mental Health and advanced certification in Educational Leadership/Administration and School Business from Long Island University and holds NYS DOE certification as School Counselor, School District Superintendent, and School Business Official. Additionally, Gary is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Board Certified Executive Coach and holds the certification designations as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and Society for Human Resources Management – Senior Certified Professional in Human Resources (SHRM-SCP).

Ira Scott has spent almost two decades in the corporate world leading others to success via coaching and training. In one instance as a multi-million dollar producing sales “manager” Ira lead a team that month after month produced in excess of 60% of the region’s total production that consisted of less than 10% of the region’s total sales representatives. In 2009 Ira left the corporate world and took his training and leadership skills with him and founded LEAN INTO LIFE ™ Inc., starting his professional journey into the realm of Social Emotional Life Coaching. In 2011 and already a Certified Master Practitioner of NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming®), a Certified Hypnotist Neo-Ericksonian Hypnosis, Certified in Belief Craft ™ – Knowledge Engineering and Sleight of Mouth, and a student of Strategic Intervention (a project dedicated to extracting the most practical and effective forms of strategic action and communication from a variety of disciplines: Ericksonian therapy, strategic family therapy, Human Needs Psychology, organizational psychology, neurolinguistics, psychology of influence, strategic studies, traditions of diplomacy and negotiation, and others) – Ira was introduced to Havening by his friend and Dentist of 30 years, Dr. Steven Ruden. Ira then attended a small group session on Long Island for a brief training and demo and was instantly hooked by the remarkable results he witnessed. In October 2013 Ira attended his first formal training run by founders Dr Ron Ruden, MD, PhD and Dr Steven Ruden as well as Dr Paul McKenna, PhD. In the summer of 2014 Ira proudly became a Certified Practitioner of The Havening Techniques ® and then began working on becoming a Trainer facilitating a training event in NYC October 2014 and then presenting / teaching at a training event on Long Island March 2015 and in Bristol, UK July 2015. Ira was a presenting Trainer of The Havening Techniques® in Oslo, Norway in September 2015 and facilitated The Havening Techniques® training in Los Angeles October 2015. From his days speaking on stage in front of 250+ at corporate sales conferences to training events in Havening – Ira brings his passion for people and their well-being center stage. Ira has guided countless individuals, couples, and groups to recognize and understand their own personal power to enhance all the experiences of their lives by stretching beyond illusory limitations and limiting beliefs with unprecedented levels of well-being, peace of mind, clarity, focus, creativity, and purpose – leading to deeper connections with self and others. A management consultant who specializes in executive coaching and management training & development, Jerry began his business career as a Certified Public Accountant and then starting as Treasurer become CEO of a 125 person service business. Presently at JASB he works with business owners, CEOs, Presidents, Managing Partners and senior executives to help them use more of their potential by learning skills of communication, delegation, goal setting, leadership, management, motivation, personal and organizational development and supervision as well as time management. Outside of his work, Jerry was Co-President of the Organizational Development Network of Long Island (ODNLI) and formerly taught as an adjunct professor at both Briarcliffe & Touro Colleges subjects ranging from Business Communication to Business Law and Entrepreneurship to Small Business Management.
